has more than twenty-nine years experience serving the non-profit
community as a volunteer, board member, fundraiser, executive
director and consultant. She has demonstrated expertise in strategic
planning and implementation, board development and governance,
volunteer management, fundraising, financial management, marketing
and communications; and in building new non-profits or re-energizing
began her non-profit career as a volunteer and board member
for the Tallahassee Symphony. fundraising, and went on to work
in fundraising as Director of Development for The Cottage School,
Director of Development for Girls Inc. Cobb County and Development
Coordinator at Lasell College. Ms. Wood has served as executive
director for The ALS Association – Georgia Chapter, Camp
Kudzu and Gilda’s Club Greater Atlanta.
volunteer leadership experiences include leading a team of volunteers
who created empowerment program for at-risk girls that was recognized
at the White House. In addition, she has served as Board Chair
of the Atlanta Women’s Alliance and Keep Roswell Beautiful,
and on the boards of the Atlanta Women’s Network, Young
Singers of Callanwolde, Tallahassee Symphony, Monticello Opera
House and Parents Association of Wesleyan College. She is a
graduate of Leadership North Fulton.

and human resources for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Norrell Services,
Bank of Boston, and Honeywell, Inc.
